Daubenton's bat media footage
From a BBC programme on the Dales
Mist netting in the Yorkshire Dales and catching Daubenton's bats 14 minutes into the programme including a bat that has been part of a ringing project more than 10 years ago.
I found a maternity colony of Daubenton's bats in 1998. The record was validated by my late colleague Pete Guest. I have spent the last 24 years monitoring this colony at the Seething Wells Filter Beds along the River Thames and the extended family who live near Home and Bushy Parks. These are the notes I have made during that time some of which are quite old and dated but serve as a record.
